Starting in mid-February 2023 and running for more than 15 months, I conducted a study tracking the incidence of adults who sexually abuse children in the United States — a study designed to determine whether commonly used assumptions about the predators have any basis in reality. This led to weekly reports on the app TikTok, and the results are chronicled on a website I created, whoismakingnews.com.
The site lists 10,885 offenders and is sortable by location, profession and status. The data is certain to challenge the commonly used claims as to who and what is harmful to children.
